absolutely gorgeous ! would love to mix and match them with daily clothes as outerwear.

ReplyDeleteI bought them both from the Goverment supported stores in New Delhi. Its a large store which quarentees fare prices direct to the makers involved and helps suuport local craft communities (another bonus is that the prices are fixed so no haggling, makes things much easier if you are shopping during a brief lunch hour having escaped work!)
The green one has Kashmiri embroidery onto a cashmere and wool mix ground, the pale grey one has a cruder wool embroidery onto a felted wool ground.

thanks tim ! definitely will keep a look out for such government-supported stores if I head to new delhi one day. it's always great to support local craftsmen.
