Weekend in the city with friends, great weather, but marred by witnessing the closing down of two key local independent stores (Luna - after 15 years of business!) and the last weeks trading of all Habitat Stores outside of london! That really was a shock. Nottingham's retail landscape is rapidly depleting, and the lose of Habitat is just another blow to a struggling city centre business community.
